A passionate HR professional with extensive experience in building systems and tools that support organizational and leadership effectiveness, Nathan Leaman brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from both businesses and nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as director of organizational development and compensation for the Grande Cheese Company based in Fond du Lac, Wis. His current focus in this role includes all training and development activities, succession planning, change management, coaching and compensation. Nathan also is senior partner and executive coach for Wall Leaman Consulting based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Nathan has a bachelor’s degree from the Moody Bible Institute and a master’s degree from Liberty University; he received his coaching certification from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. He spent seven years in full-time ministry before working 13 years at the Kohler Co. There, Nathan moved through various HR roles, eventually serving in the position of director of leadership development.
Nathan has extensive experience with assessments and is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Firo-B, Hogan Assessment, Center for Creative Leadership’s Suite of Assessments, the Leadership Circle Profile 360 and the CEL 360. His straightforward style, willingness to tackle difficult issues, genuine interest in seeing others grow and ability to coach at all levels makes Nathan a go-to resource for leadership and executive development.
Nathan and his wife, Melissa, have a son, Jordan, who is married and living in Michigan, and a college-age daughter, Hannah. Nathan is very involved in his church and enjoys spending time with his family.
