A longtime champion of the local economy, the late Phil Hauck was also a strong supporter of nonprofit agencies in the region, and the Phil Hauck Scholarship for Nonprofit Leaders has been established in recognition of that.
The scholarship will cover half the cost of tuition for an individual pursuing an MBA through the Schneider School.

Applicants must be employed by a nonprofit in a leadership role. Applications are due by July 1 and Dec. 1.

Phil Hauck authored “The Golden Age of Brown County Enterprise,” a fascinating examination of iconic local companies and the CEOs who shaped them. Hauck takes a deep dive into the strategies and visions, the decision-making and culture-building underpinning these remarkable success stories.
A portion of the proceeds from the book support the Phil Hauck scholarship.
