Mission and vision of the Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics

It is our work and our passion to educate the business leaders of tomorrow, to inspire and inform the leaders of today, and to partner with individuals and organizations of all kinds to help them flourish in a vibrant and thriving northeast Wisconsin.

Vision

St. Norbert College’s Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics will be the intellectual hub for business in northeast Wisconsin. This is achieved by a portfolio of programming to support a virtuous cycle of lifelong learning:

• Innovative undergraduate degree programs, grounded in the liberal arts with coursework designed to meet the future needs of the business community, such as our new data analytics major.
• The Schneider MBA, designed to prepare high-potential women and men for career transitions into leadership roles.
• The Center for Exceptional Leadership’s certificate programs tailored to both emerging and established leaders.
• The Center for Business, Economics & Analytics, which leverages cutting-edge analytic techniques to provide custom research services to local and regional businesses and policy-makers.
• The Strategic Research Institute, which provides rigorous survey-based analysis to organizations throughout northeast Wisconsin and beyond.

Mission

The Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics develops and empowers ethical business leaders through passionate teaching and mentoring, engaged service and consequential scholarship. We offer challenging learning experiences in the Catholic and liberal arts traditions, that are rooted in the Norbertine values of communio and localitas:

• Challenging: We achieve educational excellence by engaging in rigorous critical thinking and evidence-based action.
