He led human resources at manufacturing companies, including Commonwealth Aluminum, Commonwealth Industries, and CLARCOR Air Filtration Products.

He earned a coaching supervision certification and leads professional development for coaches. He is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management.
Jeff volunteers to advance the human resources and coaching professions. He is a past chair of the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management State Council and a past president of the Louisville Society for Human Resource Management.
