Grant J. Rozeboom is assistant professor of business ethics and corporate responsibility at Saint Mary’s College of California, where he teaches ethics courses across several academic programs. He was previously a business ethics professor at St. Norbert College. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University, where he wrote a doctoral thesis on the theory and application of the idea of respect for persons. He aims to cultivate moral intelligence in leaders at all levels, and his current research focuses on how leadership can better treat people as moral equals and respond to moral failure with future-directed forgiveness – getting past the blame game and working collaboratively with team members toward a better future. His research has been published in top-tier ethics journals, and he has served on regional ethics committees and an internal review board. He has greatly enjoyed facilitating ethics sessions for the CEL since its inaugural cohort.
