“From Intern to CEO - Making the Most Out of Curveballs”
A native of Green Bay, Wis., and graduate of UW-Whitewater, Rob began his career with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers baseball club as an unpaid intern before rising to team president at the age of 27. In 2021, Rob became part owner of the team, along with his business partners Craig Dickman and Brad Raaths, and currently serves as the Timber Rattlers’ president/CEO and managing partner.
Under Rob’s leadership, the Timber Rattlers have been recognized multiple times for their achievements, including being named Fox Valley Small Business of the Year, Baseball America's Single “A” Team of the Year, the Midwest League’s Organization of the Year and Ballpark Digest’s Ballpark of the Year, along with numerous Minor League Promotion of the Year awards including the Larry MacPhail Award, which is Minor League Baseball’s highest achievement for promotional excellence.
Rob has been recognized as UW-Whitewater's Outstanding Recent Alumni in 2004, three-time Midwest League Executive of the Year (2007, 2012 and 2018), and Baseball America’s Minor League Baseball Executive of the Year in 2023.
Rob resides in De Pere, Wis., with his wife, Nikki, and their sons, Cooper and Davis.
