Great lessons in leadership … from an unexpected place

What can you learn about leadership from the country’s worst high school hockey team?

Plenty, it turns out. New York Times best-selling author John Bacon turned his experience coaching the Ann Arbor Huron High School River Rats into Let Them Lead, his much-heralded book about transforming the squad from the worst team in America to one of the best.

The Center for Exceptional Leadership in partnership with the Cassandra Voss Center is pleased to announce that John will be conducting a workshop on Jan. 23, 2023, in the college’s F. K. Bemis International Center. The man “Good Morning America” referred to as “the real Ted Lasso” will share inspiring stories and invaluable leadership lessons gleaned from his experiences guiding the River Rats on their stunning rise.
