Jeff Nally

Center for Exceptional Leadership Coach

Jeff is an executive coach, coaching supervisor, professional speaker and author who creates no-nonsense neuroscience solutions with leaders to be more human at work. Jeff is the president of Nally Group Inc., a practice focused on the science of leadership and human interaction.

He has 26 years of professional experience in human resources, executive coaching, speaking and leadership development. Jeff created and led the Executive Coaching Practice at Humana Inc., where he coached senior leaders and established Humana’s Women in Leadership Group Coaching Program for the top 120 women at the health, insurance and well-being company.

He led human resources at manufacturing companies, including Commonwealth Aluminum, Commonwealth Industries and CLARCOR Air Filtration Products. Jeff was the executive director at two not-for-profit organizations including The Community Health Trust, operating homeless shelters for people with HIV/AIDS, and The Citizens Committee on Education, increasing high school graduation rates and
college enrollments.

Jeff is a co-author of “Rethinking Human Resources” and “Humans@Work” with other HR and coaching thought leaders. sales of both books benefit The SHRM Foundation. He earned a coaching-supervision certification and leads professional development for experienced coaches.

Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgetown College and a master’s degree from Georgia State University. He is a professional member of the National Speakers Association. He is a graduate of The Cavett Institute at NSA and The Speakers Academy at the National Speakers Association Kentucky Chapter. He serves on the NSA Kentucky Board of Directors.

Jeff is a professional certified coach through the International Coach Federation. He is a results professional certified coach through The NeuroLeadership Group, and he graduated with distinction with a certificate in the foundations of neuroleadership from The Neuroleadership Institute. He is a senior certified professional with the Society for Human Resource Management and a certified senior professional in human resources with the Human Resources Certification Institute.

Jeff volunteers to advance the human resources and coaching professions. He is a past chair of the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management State Council and a past president of the Louisville Society for Human Resource Management. Jeff is a volunteer board member for the International Coach Federation Ohio Valley Charter Chapter and The Society for Human Resource Management Foundation. He is a member of Metro United Way’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee and HR Advisory Committee. He is the former chair and a current member of Spalding University’s School of Business Advisory Board.

Jeff was named one of the top “Twenty People to Know” in Human Resources by Business First of Louisville.
